About
Known for its charming grounds, Skytop will act as both gracious host and a perfect scene to a celebration of the skilled crafters who make life taste divine, our area farmers and chefs. Beyond paying homage to the harvest season, much of the proceeds of the event will benefit the United Way of Monroe County.
Progressive food samplings and complimentary wines set around the lake will be the main event for the day, with offerings such as rich oyster stew paired with a superb reisling. Expert chefs including Skytop’s own Executive Chef, Steve Sundberg, and guest chefs Andrew Moore, of Stone Bar Inn and Lyman Winner, of The Frogtown Inn will bring abundant personality, cooking demonstrations and expertly crafted dishes to the afternoon. The day will also showcase unique area offerings, such as coffee tastings from Scranton area Java-masters, Electric City Roasting Company.
